If you have lived in Boca Raton long enough, you certainly remember The Wildflower that was located just north of the Palmetto Park Road draw bridge on the intracoastal waterway. It was the very first nightclub in Boca Raton, and it was the only nightclub for most of the 80’s. The doors closed in 1999, and the building was vacant for many years until the city demolished it back in 2009. It’s hard to believe such a well located piece of real estate could go unused for so many years.
